Access and security
What we need, and what stays in your hands.
Do you need my Shopify password?
No. We use Shopify’s collaborator access, which you approve from your own admin. You never share a password with us.
What access do you need?
Collaborator access to your Shopify store, and read access to Google Analytics and Search Console. We ask only for the areas the work needs.
Can you publish changes without my approval?
No. We show you what we plan to change, and nothing goes live on your store until you’ve approved it.
Do you work on my live theme?
Theme changes are made on a copy of your theme, so your live store isn’t touched until you’re happy with it.
Can I remove your access?
Yes, at any time, from your Shopify admin. It takes a few seconds.
What happens to our data?
We use your store data only to carry out and report on the work for your store. Our privacy notice has the detail.
